I got one of the cabela's on my klr and for the price i LOVE it , I found one at the wallsmart thats next to north county yamaha. ( don't know if that wallsmart is escondido or vista or something anyway try there you might get lucky toooo ) They are a very hot item on the klr forums people have them shipped from all over the US because there so hard to find !!! my 2c , jay

I watched a few of these video's the other day and even though its all street riding/stunting it seems that all they ride as far as dualsports go are 650L's and KLR"s !! 32 seconds in should be the new KLR commercial ( 3 person wheelie on a klr priceless :scare: )

Instead of buying a new bike hammer you could make yours look like this !

i do construction myself, and in san diego hours are 7am-7pm unless you have a special permit to work past 7pm and that is rare to come by in residential area's ( getting that permit ) keep calling the cops and they will hit him with a fine !

And to answer your question i love it, bought it new in 05 and has about 14k on it now with no mech issues ! . its a great all around bike for what it is !

Thats sounds fine orangeblood 7:30am it is , and I was also thinking of taking highland valley rd !!!!!! Hopefully I will get the new stainless brake lines installed at the tech day. Yea I normally take rancho bernardo rd toward poway and jump on poway rd then to 67 ,i will be leaving early though !!! if anyone wants to ride up i will be at the shell on the corner of rancho bernardo rd and pomerado at 7:00am !!!!!!!! Even if you don't have a klr its a sweet street ride up to jullian, and should have some nice weather tommorow!!!!!!!

Thats pretty sweet man tell him good luck and hope he catches a good break in the weather when he is ready to take the summit !!!! I worked with a kid by the name of thomas haines that was all about climbing whenever he could , he just recently moved to the east coast . He also has made the summit of everest back in 02 or 03 i think ,at the time he was the 2nd youngest american to hit the summit, i think he was 20 or 21 at the time. he went on a trip to peru last july and made the summit of the famous ( paramount picture mt ) Artesonraju ,he made me a dvd of many of his climbs around the world some of the pics are so crazy!! Hope you gave him a KLR flag to fly at the summit jay

Met for lunch yesterday with mike ! ( numbskull ) After looking at his leg after surgery dont know how he rode that bike back man, ( deff got the manhood award :declare: ) or drove his van to meet me and my girl for lunch yesterday ! :ok: ( driving with his left leg ) It was good seeing you yesterday , and the food was gooooood !!! We ate at the Bamboo Hut in mira mesa, my first time there and the teriyaki chicken was goooood !!! heal up quick buddy, jay
