Thursday, the 21st.... Plaster City

Thought I'd drop a note....

A few of us, are heading out to Plaster City on Thursday (rain or shine).

... we'll park under the large power pole (PCW), and head over to Soops... do a loop around, and maybe dart over to BluInn (will check to see if it's open yet).

I'd say we'll be on the bikes by 10AM (kind of late, but none of us are early birds).

Let me know if your interested in some miles. We're going to do as many as we can.

The old 450X got out today.

... me and a couple buds (Kenny and my Cousin Alan), decided to go out and prep for our up and coming Cancer-RideForLife.com Event/Ride. It was perfect desert weather (80s) and had rained off and on this week.

What a day, so nice... but a bit muddy here and there. And ya know, us California Boys don't like mud too much. But still, a good time.

Here's some snap shots (I'm not in the pics, I was taking them)

Parked at "Jimbos" house in Ocotillo, we're just about ready;

Perched up on a hill, with the wet and muddy Carrizo wash in the background;

Stopped at BluInn for lunch and some fuel;

Since one of the three bikes weren't plated, we stayed out of the "On Highway Vehicles Only - Fish Creek" area... and you get an idea of how wet it was;

Alan and Kenny, with the Superstition Mtns and Sand Dam in the background;

Ya know... because you have to (boys will be boys);
