new to area want to ride!

Recommended Posts

My buddy and I have been riding around out here, but want to find some better spots. We have been all around proctor valley, off the 905, and took a nice ride down the border fence from tecate. I want to find some riding with maybe something other then just rocks, maybe somewhere with trees and a creek. I am down to ride every weekend. Ive been looking at places to ride and it looks like a lot of places are closed down because the fire hazards. PLEASE SOMEONE CALL ME ALL I WANT IS TO RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Jesse and my number is 619-708-4867 and my email is jesserosco@yahoo.com I live down in Imperial Beach and will ride to pretty much anywhere as long as you say it will be fun. Now lets go ride

This is the place to find out about rides. You're right... the closest areas are closed to due to fire danger...

Your best bet for trees and creeks is probably Arrowhead/Pinnacles

I hear good things about Kennedy Meadows.

Locally, we're in the desert... I don;t know of streams except Pine Valley creek, and that's all paved (but still fun)

Lark Canyon is fun, but small.... Plaster City/Superstition/Ocotillo Wells are bigger.

My preferred ride would be one way single track, through pine trees and water crossings, with natural jumps, etc. If I find a good place, I will post it, and go there often.
