  1. it's real... heavy

a 1200cc engine is going to be heavy, and that looks like a nice build.... just maybe... what's the word? "confused"?

Harley Dual Sport--Weight 475 lbs (without gasoline) copied from web site.

New R 1200 GS-- Unladen weight, road ready, fully fuelled 1) 525 lbs (238 kg) Copied from BMW web site

    Not far off !

  2. I hit one each of the pics below, the wild Fairmont came out of a driveway and made a left in front of me, the domesticated Afghan Hound ran out of between 2 parked cars on Wisconson St. in Oceanside. The Fairmont survived but I think I killed the Afghan, It hobbled off down an alley yelping and making all sorts of strange noises! I also came around a corner once and low sided in a lot of dirt and very little grass because the home owner felt he needed to mow the dirt in his front yard! Those were my 3 big street incidents.

I agree with Trophy, seems like an awful long time to heal!

Warp - i'd get another opinion or somebody involved. I wish they would've installed hardware on mine years ago and yours looks like a candidate. Mine was separated about at far.

Don - always enjoy your company - ride with you anytime. Of course, the opposite may not be true....king.gif/>
