Just a personal PSA. I bought a 5 watt handheld a couple years ago. Haven't used it much except at Glamis. Last time we went out, the black plastic sheath that covers the antenna fell off. The glue failed, I think. Anyway, I called and explained. They were super nice and sent me a replacement right out. If you're considering comm system I recommend them highly.

Speaking of nipples, both your ears must've been burning today, as ThumperBob and I went on MY first real ride since surgery and we spoke of you 2 several times. It's awesome to see you were out too!!

I've noticed that scientists don't really have that kinda humor sense, sadly.

Had surgery today. Lump gone. One lymph node from armpit removed and sent for test. Wait now 7-10 for results to reveal stage. Sore, groggy. Suffered worse though so I'll be alright. Can't express enough my appreciation for all your support and inspiration. Will update what I know when I know it.

TW200? I'll be in Glamis for the weekend not using him.

Latest update: Radiation mock up today. I'm trying to enjoy being topless this much; you'd think I'd be loving all this titty attention... Got stickers and marks to line up on the machine. Laid topless with my arms over my head while they lined things up. Had to take deep breaths and practice holding my breath. This is because the treatment area is my left side, over my heart, so this creates a buffer area for protection. 3 of the marks the put on me were tattooed on me. They're small dots-not anything cool at all. I go back Friday the 13th(irony not lost) for a dry run, then official sessions begin the next week. 20 of them, so I'll be totally done mid-February. Gonna forget all about it for now and get ready for New Year's celebrations in Glamis. I'd love to do a weather permitting Noob ride January 7 or 8 if anyone will be available to lead? Thank you all again for all the support and positive vibes.

We have the lock n load system we use for my sportbike. It works perfect. We strap the rear but it's not really necessary. The Husky tire is too narrow for it to work as well but it's still way more secure than other methods. We're happy with the product and their service/info.

Got the call I'd been waiting on. All good news. Theres no spread, my margins are clear. No more surgery needed. Just some radiation and medication and I'm back to regular programming. I AM A LUCKY LADY!! Cant express in words my appreciation for all the support. I'll be here to pay that forward and back for awhile, hooray. Best news of all is I can ride as soon as I feel like it! Noob ride anyone??

I have breast cancer. Found out a couple of weeks ago. I'm scheduled for surgery December 1st, so this weekend is my last chance to really ride for awhile. I'm up for whatever the majority prefers: dirt track, dualsport, or dirt trail. Don't care, just wanna ride. Maybe a noob/big bike ride, or a gathering at Corral or Lark?

The Facebook post is for Saturday. You are all absolutely welcome to join. It's a street ride though. All asphalt. Sunday I'd like to get dirty. I can ride the plated TW or red sticker 150. I can bring both in my truck.

Sunrise Hwy, through Julian,stop St Ysabel at Dudley's/Julian Pie Co. On to Ramona,fuel stop, South on 67 and ride ends. Will be a mix of bikes. New rider friendly. Route will be Old 80/Japatul to Pine Valley. Major's Diner for breakfast. Then to Sunrise, through Julian. Stopping at Dudley's Bakery/Julian Pie Co. in St. Ysabel. Then 67 south back to town and wherever your hearts may lead you.

Sunday is the 2nd. And I'm already leading a noob street ride. Please post another soon!!

Gotcha. I won't loan it because I ride it too frequently but any time we can work out a day use I'm happy to let her use it.

I plan to go to Pala this Saturday to practice on my 150. If you'd like to meet me there I'll bring my TW200 for her to use for the day.

Was just us 3 amigos. Greenhorn fits right in with this goofy crew. It was a blast following him and ThumperBob to Majors for breakfast. Couldn't have asked for better weather; and as a special bonus, got to meet Uncle Champ in person. Thanks again for treating breakfast, Patrick, hope to see you on more rides in the future!

TW has fresh top end, I'm fresh from injury rehab, Motoventures school and Moab. ThumperBob and I are meeting at 7/11 Lake Jennings, 7:30am. KSU 0800. Old 80 to Viejas Grade; breakfast in Descanso. Thinking maybe Boulder Creek after. No of ride. Easy roads, laid back pace.
