I'm very happy with my SIDI crossfire boots. I didn't get the SRS, i've kicked myself for that since, but haven't had to shell out for new soles yet.

I had a good time, thanks to all. It thoroughly kicked my butt. Lost my cell phone, and luckily someone picked it up and returned it same day. The Lifeproof case saved the phone though the case is toast. There is a reason for Leash laws. Not 5 minutes into the ride I almost took out someones loose dog, missed the dog, but managed to scrap most of the "new" off the bike. I know with the 6 other times it hit the ground the bike would have lost all that new anyway, but the way that first one went down is irritating.

I'm in! Where's the meeting point, and is there a good place to park the truck. (I don't really wanna ride from Mira Mesa all the way out)

I know old thread, but that's a handy map. I've been kicking around the idea of doing a trip into reward mine.

Went out to meet up at the track today. Didn't get to ride due to motorcycle issues. 2013 TE 511 In Neutral, it can be pushed around like normal. it will start in any gear with the clutch pulled in, as soon as I start to let the clutch out it stalls. In gear with the engine off, clutch pulled in it'll roll an inch or two then the output shaft locks up.

Looks like a fun day.

A mental loose screw makes some people more entertaining. I don't suffer from insanity, I revel in it.

Doing a quick search, it seems there is a big problem with the huskies flaming out. CafeHusky/ Thumpertalk people seem to point at the FI or tuning. Have you remapped or added the JD tuner? I didn't, though I bought it used I don't think the prior owner did such an upgrade. just tried something different... clicked it up into 5th gear pulled in the clutch and pushed, still wants to lock up forward, but did move (not easily) backward with a horrific grinding sound ... I'm guessing a mechanical issue.

Yep, stalls like i'm standing on the back brake while trying to ride off. Runs and sounds normal with clutch pulled. No kickstand cutout... Primary side of the transmission is my guess. Dropping it off tomorrow... fingers crossed it isn't to expensive.

My first weekend off since I bought the new bike in February. Sounds like fun, how do I get there, or GPS cords?

I wear the Thor Impact rig. I'm happy with it. All the same areas protected, but the pads look a little thinner. Meets CE standards.

2013 Husqvarna TE511 with 2100 miles on it. Looking forward to my next weekend off. (probably in April)

Major improvement over the XT, can't wait to get in into the dirt... also just noticed the speedometer is in Kilometers so it actually has 1300 miles on it, not 2100.

I need to get out for a ride this saturday. I was thinking about doing the stagecoach run then heading over to In-ko-pah (smugglers cave, elliot mine?) 9:00am @ the Jacumba gas stations. I won't ride alone so if interested please RSVP. Challenging terrain. All skill levels welcome.
