    Where's Waldo?

The common is that all the points lay just off to the side of a main road. Places you ran out of gas in the past maybe?? One is East of Lake Henshaw on the 76 before the 79 One is on Old Hwy 80 West of the Pine Valley trailer park One is on Viejas Blvd near the Post Office Two lay on the right side of the road while the other sits on the Left side.... ????? One other this is that they are all vehicle "turn out" areas???

    Where's Waldo?

Old Hway 80 in Descanso and Viejas but I'm not getting the connection you're referring to...?? Backway to PV from Alpine??? Just taking a stab there.
  3. I like the last photo w/o a tripod... Makes the green alien spacecraft hovering in your campsite more believable. Cool stuff you have going on there!
  4. It's hard to post up against Riggas epilogue. Heck, he even managed to receive a golf clap for it. I'm gonna have to play the Action Jackson card to try and hold my ground. I'll use the "pictures speak louder than words" theory. Might be best as I tend to misspell or just completely make up words when I do write. Giv'er Morning run at a local spot. All is quiet in the lot.... Damn... got the Dr Suess thing going on here! Run up over the hill and around to some of my favorites. I like the variety that Corral has to offer. Tried to get a little bit of everything in these photos. Bermer Tree boot I've added little things like this all over. I call them "skill builders" Tech Climb Tech climb skull stomping me... When you do it a half dozen times the odds are gonna get ya! Scrub McNasty The end
  5. Good morning Deb I can see it now... SicVics school of "How to crash good" Lol There was a time when I did instruct Mountain Biking Skills courses in NorCal. At the time it seemed crazy to be paid $100/Hr to teach someone to go around a corner. Now I've come to realize that it was really important to those who took the instruction. One Lady went on from a Beginner to eventualy winning Her Age Class at a Big Bear National Race. She worked really hard at it and passed Her own expectations. Cool story. As for me; those days have passed and I don't think I'll be returning. This is our John Bull imposter trail only much shorter and the rocks are pointy vise the smooth rounded type. The rocks do feel the same when I fall though...guess the density does not change based on the shape.! LOL I can't wait for the Big Bear Run again this year. Hope to see you at one of the check points..???? Glad you enjoyed the photos. Take care SV
  6. F-BOMB LURKING DAWG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Logroller in your best Elvis voice..... Thank ya; thank ya very much. lol. A lot of running that day I'll tell ya.
  8. HOOTIE HOOOOOO Welcome to the site brother. (they should have never let you in) HA Yeah, that new schedule you have blows goats for quarters. The plus side is that you still have your job. That trail changes like the wind. One Jeeper is all it takes to make it something else entirely. A week ago I looked all Pro going up it and then yesterday the Mid section was having prision sex with me. Oh last thing... The reason you left that exhaust plug in is cause you're old and Alzheimer's is setting in!!! Good fun man. Thanks again for that tape and keep in touch. Later
  9. YES Crust... exactly like that guy! I'll be the MX Taliban. lol (is the bike ok)*Slaugo* Thats a loaded question with my bike. I'm thinking I may have bent some already bent stuff back in the right direction. It's so tore back It's hard to tell when any additional damage takes place! I went 45 miles after the impact and I think it did a lot better in the turns. Maybe bent the headtube in some making for quicker steering!?!? Just kidding man! All is good on the Huffy.
  10. So I was doing hill repeats on 3a.... It's gotta be a bad story if it starts like that right! Bust out 104 epic miles today at Corral. Found several other riders here and there but somehow managed to smash into the front of the only jeep out there. I felt sorta bad cause I flatted out the dudes new off-road tire and ravaged his L front corner marker light. I changed his flat out and got him and his Girlfriend back on their way. Guess they were going to Gunslinger trail. That was at about mile 60. Lots and lots of snakes out there today. Not a big fan of them. Think I'd rather run into another vehicle rather than have to freak out about the snakes. Anyone wanna join in??? 100 mile repeats, snake infested trails, and head on's a plenty!!!!! Good times for all... Down with the Sickness
  11. Crust, I'm coming to that track on a day when you're there, then I'm gonna sneak in w/o paying, then I'm going to ride the oppostite direction just to give you flash backs of Corral! I'm not stopping until I have Red paint all over the front of my bike.... LOL Bwaaaah Come back to the dark side man. It's a carcass chucking good time I tell ya.

Just hit my second year since joining the site. A positive experience in many ways. As you go along you kinda find a direction that works for you and then migrate to others with the likes. Touring, MXers, Vintage (bikes and age) Multiple steeds in the stable, Weekend Warriors, Noobs and Vets; list could go on and on. Every person loves and supports the sport of Motorcycling at its core. The pot of knowledge is filled with opinions, facts, home brew, ole school, nu school, my way, your way, the highway... Whats nice is that you can just reach in and take out what works for you. In the two years I've found the type of riding that I enjoy. Since I have not ridden a lot of places or with hundreds of others I can only give a basic description based on where I've been. On to my point of posting. I'm looking to occasionally ride Corral with someone who enjoys the Black Diamond runs as much as the frequently used main trails. I think these rides normally go un-posted or stay in the Bro Click. I like Corral, I enjoy the trek over from Pine Valley, multiple runs through the posted Black Diamond stuff is a bonus. I'm a newer rider, I'm not fast, I like to laugh and I enjoy crashing....no that's not right. Enjoy laughing about the crash afterwards, that's it! (I feel like this is sort of an application...) If there comes a day when you wake up and say: Think I'll ride 80 miles at Corral, hit Ranger in both directions twice, then do laps up and down Bronco Peak please mail me! I ride Mon-Fri, weekends I reserve for the Boss. Put SicVic in ur rolodex if this sounds like you. Thanks SDAR for a kick ars 2 years!

    Todays a good day to...

Found this gem buried in the trash from yesteryear. A whole new twist to "that's how I roll" I don't know how to attach stuff like this so if ya wanna see the carnage do this... Youtube then search Mt Baldy Downhill Union DVD 4:30 so it's a little long but if you would enjoy seeing Sicvic in full self destruction mode this is it! ... or just ride with me. Happens quite often. Get that kid a spatula...
  14. Nice time of year to get out there Mimi. Soon it will turn back into the oven. I's swear there must be 1000 miles of trails out there. A new one sprouts every 5 minutes! Not nearly as windy today and the temps were good. See ya
  15. Looking good Crust. Didn't think Pro Mo made anything that co$t less than a Benji. Score! Now don't go and loop it first thing alright.... SV
  16. Glad ya'll like the pics. I was super excited to git'em posted up. It was a fun little project for the day and some of them turned out to make it look like I sorta knew what I was doing. Always a bonus! Later
  17. No kidding. 10secs to run to bike, get on, clutch in, clutch out, and then get to the top of the rocky hill climb!!!! That pic actually bummed me out. I've been ranting about the difficulty of this trail forever. I guess it only takes 10 seconds..... I swear I've spent what seemed 30 minutes on this stupid hill before. One time I had to bail out on it. It was raining and no matter what I did I could not get through the rock section at the bottom. Some days ur the peanut; other days ur the turd..That's life
  18. Is this ride still a go Alan?
  19. Brando! HA. Glad you took a pic of that. Thought you would get a kick out of me covering her up. What-a-story
  20. I know huh! Log bumps are fun. Ranger only has those death shrubs and stones. Not many trees for natural stunts like that. I'll keep my eyes open.
  21. Tweeker cam.... Put camera on tripod, set focus, engage 10 second timer delay, push button and run like hell! Its a really sophisticated system. lol I've said this before; being an only child caused creativity to run wild....or I'm slightly retarded???? Timing....yeah right. How bout a ga-zillion attempts. Glad you enjoyed 'em.
  22. Keep me on your McCain radar for next Wed. SV

I love Muppets! Ahhnahhhmulll.... YES Monday is a great idea; I'll break you off like a little girl!!!! Did I really say that??? Of course I ment; I'd really enjoy getting out there to see the sights with you Bob. Ya know, take in the nature and stuff. My defense; I said "I'm not fast". Didn't say I was slow. I reside in that dangerous grey in the middle. Hope you can make it happen. Always a good time. Thanks man.
