  1. We're heading down tomorrow as well and will be there over New Year's.. So help may be closer than you think
  2. I'm interested depending on when the trip falls (it would have to be the later half of April for it to work for me).
  3. Thanks for the info Tree We have a group going down Dec 27th and over New Year's so the Jan one is out for me (if anyone wants to come along for the New Year's ride let me know - mix of Adv bikes and smaller bikes). As of right now the March, April and May shenanigans look like definite possibilities for me
  4. I'd love to join in on a couple of those. What level riders usually come along? I'm not a complete n00b but I'm also pretty far from a racer and wouldn't wanna hold the group up.

    ADVLife.us - ADVENTURE DAYS?

Todd: shameless plug for my own thread Let me know if interested.
  6. Anyone interested in taking a Jimmy Lewis class? I'm looking for folks who'd be interested in taking the class to car/truck/trailer pool with out to Pahrump, NV for the weekend of Dec 8. I have a few friends who've participated in Jimmy's classes before and came away very happy with the experience. It ain't super cheap...but how do you put a price on riding skills, right? Besides, it's an early Christmas gift to yourself! Let me know if interested... http://jimmylewisoffroad.com/class/series-i-off-road-riding-school-essential-skills-course-4/
  7. Nooo, I'm screwed, blue and that Saturday I'm getting tattoed Goofy: They serve your typical SoCal/Mex type food, ranch style with everyone around the table. Lodging is also ranch style, with private rooms. I defer to Sondra on mileage and refueling possibilities, that'll depend on the route they're planning. Have a GREAT ride!!
  8. Sun 28th? Halloween n00bs from Hell?!
  9. I think this probably needs to happen again in the near term future

    Dyno tuners?

Grassy-ass - it's for a Ducari. Thanks! I found Lee's Cycle, but read some really crazy horror stories on Yelp that made me nervous. Dave Campbell's sounds like it would be worth a shot though. Any first hand experience?

    Dyno tuners?

Howdy! I'm fairly new to the San Diego area (moved here from O.C) and I've been trying to figure out where to take one of my bikes for a dyno tune (PowerCommander). O.C has a dyno tuner on every corner it seems, but I'm having trouble locating any in SD. I think I found two places on DynoJet's web site. Should I forget about getting the tuning done down here and just bring the bike up north for this? Who's got the 411 on the SD dyno situation?
