A washed out canyon, on the way into the White Mountains near Bishop, CA., from July 2006.

This was perhaps the most difficult riding I've done so far on the 950.....

One more for the "Beasts"...

When I didn't know any better...

Deep in the Dulzura "pink gate" area... end of the road!

Old 1875 Stage Route northeast of Barrett Junction.

Pre-skidplate. First bottoming out on the DL650. Lucky spot to hit. Lunar Crater, NV.

The packmule takes 2UP to 11,800 feet on Engineers Pass in CO. Riding the snowmelt the whole way up was like riding in a little stream at times.

NW Nevada. A deep little nasty that was the end of the road for all 2WDs... and for that matter, all but one 4WD we saw beyond that point. Lisa scavanged us up a 2x6 that I am lining up on.

Randy-

Great pics. The last ones remind me a bit of the Big Bear rock gardens.

I am soooo looking forward to riding the Sierras ya know.

Craig, awesome pics of the big guy in the snow. Thats a whole new ballgame in the white stuff. Anybody else play in the bit we had on the DD the other week? I couldnt help myself.

I am soooo looking forward to riding the Sierras ya know.

Mesc, I will be in touch with BLM and Forest Service to find out about organizing a Dualsport Ride in that same area next year.

So, if it's a go, I will be going up this summer to prerun and layout trails. I'll be posting invites on the forums.

Yep....sometimes we get our ass kicked, but always afterwards we say, "wow, that was awesome" !! To me, it's overcoming the challenge. I always look back at these tough rides with nothing but great memories.

God that's funny!

You know, before you posted I was looking at those photos, but decided they didn't compare to "Radical-Rad".

That was a great trip! I remember mustering up the courage for that vertical drop. We regretted not taking pictures of the REALLY TOUGH STUFF , but it's indelibly imprinted in my mind. I wanna go back, dude ...

John Bull, Gold Mtn..... those trails are a blast. Some parts of the trails I'd look back and laugh that I made through that gnarly terrain. Theres good stuff up there.
