Gnarly, Nasty, Difficult Trails - PHOTOS !

Recommended Posts

Dai Jones and ISDE97, this ones dedicated to you and our upcoming adventure (and our past ones as well) .

From the MS18 H cam and his overheating KTM250xcf, reference for this group's rider avg skill level (solid Nat Bs,A and AA/pro riders) the guy pushing his Husky TE310 up ahead in the shot is a former WORCS pro and management team member at Husqvarna USA. This is the best technical invite only ride in the SW region. It's fun, beautiful and downright punishing (but still fun of course).

In the different course layouts throughout the years we have ridden this section up like shown here and also we have come from the other way as well. In the past I have cleaned this section but in 11 I just slipped up the rear end and had to push the last few feet (450s are heavy in these situations!). You will notice there are @ 4 different approaches into this area, it follows a muddy/sandy stream crossing for the warm up.Near the end of the viddy I am off to the right trying and failing badly to assist the rider that fell back and tweaked his knee.

looking down at the rear end slide out (did not weight the rear enough)

Everyone, please keep this forum section for photos or videos from YOUR rides or YOUR FRIEND'S rides, not random gnarly shots or videos from the web.

Thanks !

Check on the anonymous shots SDAR boss.

Just to be clear, that viddy I posted is me Red wht AXO gear on the Husky TXC450 Tractor/torque monster mostly leading and cleaning the "box canyon" parade, with Cyril YZ250, Tommy Kato 525 Kam, And Baja 1000 Ron on his CRF450X. just did not know if viddy is ok here as well as fotos. A nice combo of bikes and skill levels from pro to a to b,

Not particularly "technical" or very long but gnarley for SoCal conditions just the same!

Finally have a picture of a gnarly, (g)nasty trail from this weekend. Ofcourse, I forgot to get a shot of the 16ft wall we had to climb down
