I only dropped my bike once when I was trying to shortcut back to a road when I made a wrong turn. Had no trouble really on the snow/ice.

I still need to get radiator guards, brake guards etc at some point I don't have those.

Mike, even *I* didn't know how bad I was until after we got back I just knew we had to finish!

gravel indeed sucks, so does sand for me, when they are combined with whoops even more so!

With the Camera or a Camera App?

The coloration is via SepiaCamera.

The eye, however, is another matter.

What's the old saying?

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then?

Or give enough monkeys enough typewriters and they'll eventually create Shakespeare?

Well, that and my singing voice, obviously.

Are you saying that monkeys created your singing voice?:ph34r::lol:

I'm going to assume that's a compliment. :)

iPhone is one of my favorite tools. I have a buncha stuff shot with it.

Yes, A compliment. Just as with the bikes, it is not the hardward but the operator.

By the way, what do you guys think all the scars on the rocks were from?? Glaciers??? And he rocks....red from iron???

Scars were from a massive alien war, after they finished the pyramids of course, and the rocks are red from their blood. :)

Quite a weird formation of rocks though...

re: "the coaster awakes" picture

i was there, really amazing. it's a perspective thing, and he has it..kinda funny how "simple", but style is like that.

the "color" of the sunrise wasn't really notable..but i guess the lighting and angles...

:)...i still dunno how i am with the "tilted horizon" tho...it's cool, but yet, unsettling in a way...

Thanks for Crawdaddy and Strega for setting this up. This was my first ride with SDAR. I met a lot of great people.

When we pulled into the parking lot at the end of the day, one of the bikes in our group, a TE-250 wasn't sounding right. We soon found out why. He dropped it around the "Nice Truck" and didn't know he caused any damage. Thank God he made it back. That would have been a long tow!?

Uh oh!

A little too close to the cactus. One needle went into my finger so far that it had to be pulled out with a pair of pliers.

As I suspected, I missed an epic ride and camaraderie with the folks at SDAR. Thanks for the photos and reports to remind me how bad I wanted to go. :)

I too am going to ask the question....Who is up for an early spring ride following C-diddy's tracks? I can't wait till next year.

EZ to fix with Miracle Putty- should be a part of every toolkit. Just clean the area with gasoline and patch it up.

Never mind the pieces that might be in there rattling around. Small piece of aluminum and some Jb weld would cover the hole, but again I dont think I would want to have the metal pieces getting caught up in anything causing more damage.
