doberboy 0 Posted January 4, 2010 I've been lurking here for a few months. Time to introduce myself. My name is Andrew, 38, married. I live in Carlsbad and have two boys 4 & 2. I sold me 2004 WR450 a few months ago and got a new 2009 KTM 450 EXC. With about 100 miles on the bike, I did my first dual sport ride at Bass Lake last October. What an amazing trip! I am hoping to make the Terrible Ride in a few weeks. BTW, I was at Gordon's Well over New Years and ended up in the same camp as another SD Adventure Rider member - Schwinn. Same place I went for my first "organized" Dualsport ride w/ roll chart, etc. in 2002.......STILL my favorite place in this state...... I am hoping to make the Terrible Ride in a few weeks. blind_in_1_ear 0 Posted January 4, 2010 welcome to the family. and as for Terrible ride, make it happen, i am in pretty much same boat...kinda had to just go for it. i went to x-plane last year, and had a blast...lots of seat time too...so that bike will love it!
