firematt 0 Posted June 16, 2009 I am considering ridding Black Canyon road out of Ramona. I’m sure there are tons of you out there who have ridden this road and the surrounding area. I was wondering if this is a road that goes through to a main road where you can find fuel and food, or does it just end at some private fence somewhere?? If so any recommendations to a better rout or different trail to take would be appreciated as well.. Thanks for your time Fire Matt..

It does go through but there's nothing on the other side other than Mesa Grande.....no food/fuel neaby.......best ridden as an out and back, especially if you want to stay on dirt.......unless you're on your way to......somewhere......and therefore engaged in a longer ride involving a good degree of pavement which will eventually get you to fuel/food..... dirt dame 554 Posted June 16, 2009 It comes out on Mesa Grande road. Turn left and that comes out near Lake Henshaw. Food at Lake Henshaw diner. (Probably should post this under informal rides or general discussion thread.)
