dirt dame 677 Posted September 9 (edited) Not much more riding weather in the mountains. The days have cooled off and the meadows are starting to turn brown. The aspens haven't turned gold yet though, but it can't be too long before they do. After October...or maybe sooner, the first snowfall will carpet the Uintas, and trail riding will come to halt in the high country. But if the winter is mild, there will at least be some local riding just out of town. Until then, I need to put all the miles on that I can up on the range. Most of the summer has blessed me with rainy cool rides up in the mountains. There were a few hot weekends, but who cares when you have vented riding gear and plenty of shade trees to hang out under? bajadog 54 Posted September 10 (edited) Still looking green and cool up there. Great photos thanks again! You are missing all the high temps and brutal tropical humidity here in SoCAL.😁 Edited September 10 by bajadog

But I'll miss those not so brutal winter days out there when it's snowing sideways up here with overnight lows of zero degrees.
