AZ single track w/ friends

Recommended Posts

I had the good fortune to be able to ride with friends last week, riding skinny bikes out of Cave Creek for 3 days.

It was a real treat to just set up the camper and have no responsibility but to just ride.  No tracks, no plans, just follow our guide Beau and trust he won't kill us.  Beau owns ReadyToRide Rentals and Moto Vacations. He's a great guide and a blast to ride with!

One of our crew (Kevin) filmed quite a bit of GoPro footage from his helmet and quickly threw out this mashup of fumbles and moments in the ride.

Good times with good people makes for great experiences.

We had a couple 450's, a 300, a 501 and 500.  Beau rode his Kove 450ralley.

And a good time was had by all!

Very few.  I went on this trip with a mindset of being a complete passenger.  No routes, no tracks, no questions.  Just ride my 450 wherever the group went.  It was a hoot.  I didn't even record my track.

pretty much endless single track.  Was nice to have a guide as the spiderweb of trails led in, out and through some high risk stuff.  The few miles of 2 track we encountered seemed to all be fun stuff with less risk.  Middle of day 2 afternoon, right in some of the more technical stuff that Beta puked out.  Had to tow it out down a wash or two and bushwhacked it across to a highway.  Then towed it 35 miles or so on country roads to base.

Way to go Zubb!

Great to see a ride report on the site, and fun to see pics/video about the adventure.  Jeez, maybe you should have had the GS so you could have made some of those trails "no Touch" , haha.

Well done.
