My coworker (retiring this month) and fishing buddy Phil Benham and his bro Marcus ran the 2022 Norra 1000 on modified 200cc Vespas. I watched some of the live tracking and videos. They made decent time considering suspension etc. https://www.advpulse.com/adv-news/vespa-scooters-to-race-baja-for-fun-and-glory/ https://www.norra.com/releases/2020/release_2020_02_25.php Edited April 15 by bajadog
padu 387 Posted April 16 That's so cool! That's the thing with rally - you don't need to be the fastest guy around - you need good navigation skills. I got 2nd place on the 2025 NORRA 500 and most of the time I thought I was dead last
bajadog 50 Posted April 17 I plan to go down to this year's Norra 500. I used to pit for Mag 7 on the Score 500 and 1000, but I like the rally better. Seeing vintage bikes and buggies is very cool.
