DSM8 451 Posted August 25 (edited) Since the truck is still out of the shop for a few more weeks and the weather is starting to cool down, I wanted to throw out the idea of a tech day in September. On the 13th. Wanted to gauge interest. @KTMrad Ok seems like we might have enough people to make this worth hosting, I will do it regardless. The usual disclaimers. You are responsible for the hauling away of old tires We can manage to dispose of you used oil, bring your own cause. All the fabrication, machining etc if needed is free you only pay for consumables depending on the work being done. Edited August 26 by DSM8
tntmo 1007 Posted August 25 13th is currently open on my calendar. I recently picked up a new to me bike and some unnecessary accessories, perhaps could wait to install them until tech day. tntmo - Strong Maybe
sesamegirl 9 Posted August 25 I really like this idea! I have nothing on my calendar and am in the middle of top-end work on my Beta so I don't think I could move the bike anywhere but I could always swing by to meet people or help where I can. I guess I'll be a maybe.

I will expect to have the gates open and if we get enough interest we will fire up the grill or such We only ask for donations to the site which help defray the cost for @KTMrad that come out of his pocket.

DSM8 451 Posted September 4 So do we have any sort of headcount at this point? So far looks like 3, maybe 4 and I have a person or two that might show up whom is not on this site but into motorcycles.
sesamegirl 9 Posted September 4 (edited) I'll be there! I can bring food/drink options, I'm not sure what people normally do. I won't have my bike as PowerSeal USA currently has my cylinder but I could maybe work on valve springs or something like that. 🤷♀️ I'm excited to meet people! tntmo 1007 Posted September 8 Beer as lubrication.
sesamegirl 9 Posted September 8 Thank you everyone! I might splurge and get the Motion Pro suspension tool set which would do it. I'll either work on that or I'll do my valve springs I'm thinking. Not sure yet. I plan on getting there early regardless.
Mr.JAJA 480 Posted September 9 If anyone has one or more, rear mono shock springs, please let me know what you have. I know I need a stronger for my TT600 but as for now, I don't know what I have installed. So I like to get a collection for testing and measuring on the work bench. If you can bring some to the tech day, it would be great.
tntmo 1007 Posted September 9 I've done dozens of suspension bearings without a tool set. What bike is it?
