Half Price Sale 2016 KTM 450 XCW

Half Hearted Half Price Sale - To continue,

In my humble opinion, the bike is is good shape, having been well maintained during it use.
Suspension serviced and set up by George @ Suspension 101, 20 Hr crankcase oil change regimen, wheels are true,  brakes good. All the wheel bearings have been replaced. Spark Arrestor exhaust.

14,,095 miles, 521 hours lovingly applied by a 186lb, 65 to 71 year Old Anza Borrego fan. The motor runs perfectly, starts/ idles immediately.

I think the last price I threw out was $5750, which I think is a SDAR buddy price. Talk to me if you disagree. Will accept more $.  Don’t need a trade. Send me a PM to start a conversation.
I have been slow to but it up on Craigs L, but may need to if no one is ready to act here.

That 4 gallon tank is great in my opinion; put 3 gallons in it and the fuel is at your knees. And ready to top up for a big camping ride. This is a 450 XCW which means two things: first and foremost, it is fueled perfectly, second, you need to plate it in Arizona or somewhere. I have run a Montana plate for six years with no issue.

OK,  That’s my pitch. Chat me up/PM ,

   Dave/Bagstr

More Info:  Sicass turn signalS and multi function switch, Lithium battery. Sprockets and chain this season. Many more adders

One of the best setup, best maintained bikes you’ll ever come across and it just happens to be the best year bike that KTM ever  made. I’d buy it in a heart beat if I didn’t already have it’s sister.

The more I think about the situation, The more I like the idea of a Tuesday/Thursday garage. Or possibly a Every other Tuesday bike.

Good Idea?  💁‍♂️

I’m trying desperately to get my buddy to buy this. Right now he’s on an xr250 looking at upgrading to a drz400, so we obviously a little out of his price range. But I’m trying!

This is almost exactly the bike I'm looking for! If you were a fortune teller, how many more miles do you think the engine is good for? I always wanted a 450 instead of a 500, heard the 500's are paint shakers (don't know how true that is though).

Good Morning Moto fans:

Regards miles to go:  Sand Diego Power ( Blossom Valley ) Tim Dunaway, installed a new KTM matched cylinder and piston at 315hrs/8600 miles. I had been foolish in running 3 month old gas down one too many sand washes at the beginning of the fall season. Ring failure. Some people say new piston at 400 hours, others say run it until it won’t idle normally. I would say 315 hours was way early for a piston. Today the bike runs strong and idles immediately. Do the math, You will get many different opinions on life of an engine.

That’s why it is a Half Price Sale.

Other notes: Bike has a lithium batter and Sicassracing turn signals, multi function light switch.

Bfar33,  Costs nothing to check it out. Send me a PM and I will give you my address and phone #.   😎. La Mesa

Regarding the 450:

I am a believer.  Had the 350 and 690, 990.  Has the torque missing on the 350, more control than the 500 ( in my opinion ) on the delicate loose or rocky climbs. It gives me my best chance.
