Is the lagoon out near the Superstition exit off the 8 ?

I haven't ridden between the 8 and 98 since way back when on the Desert Dash. Nice pics looks like tacky dirt!

Ya planned a route over some coffee this morning with a BLM map.

Hi-tailed it to the Wash, dodging chores as I went. . .

Rode solo East Coyote Wash, felt good to be out.. Coyote Wash  has lots of deep sand.

Found a fork in the Wash that leaded me to the prison

Got gas in Seeley 5.99 gallon

Ended up next to the border

In this pic you can see Plaster City, Superstition Mnt, and Coyote Mnt.

80 miles.

71 degrees

Sand was wet underneath.

You can find the Lagoon south on Derrick ave.

I rode a lot of that stuff when we would take helicopters to NAF El Centro.  Bunch of good trails there, thanks for sharing.

That all looks delicious! Not ridden that quadrant, always looked at it longingly from the highway at 85mph.

You know if you go west from that pic near the border there's a canyon that keeps going west and up... but it's a secret so I can't discuss it further.
