I grew up in Idaho and motorcycles were always a part of hunting in the mountains and desert. I’ve heard a lot of hunters are moving to bikes like these. 
there were numerous times that I was leveling my sights on game only to have a motorcycle or 2  come roaring through and spoil the shot. Electrics could eventually ease the tension between various types of trail users, like hikers, bikers, hunters and horse riders. It will be very interesting to see where this all goes in the future.

I'm anticipating electrics for the same reasons I like electric cars: TORQUE.

 

I'm thinking they'll be a blast to ride.

Don't expect to see a dirt bike with a hub motor. Dirt bike designers go out of their way to reduce unsprung weight to a bare minimum.

Raw cost of batteries alone would be in the $3K - $4k alone, not to say the weight would be enormous for a dirt bike.
