I could put the stock pipe back on the 690, I am pretty sure that thing gets so hot you could weld other metals together by holding them near it.

I have totally upgraded the lighting system on my baby Honda, found a high quality Chinese headlight in my treasure trove.  I cut it into pieces and then cut a piece of plexiglass to fit the headlight ring, put some self stick insulating foam stuff between it all and it doesn't look as bad as it sounds.  I also have some castoff LED spot lights that came off some junk I had around here and hooked them up, wired them in so they come on with the high beam.

I hope y'all have sunscreen and dark visors.

Yes, I am being patient.  Makes me aware of how much space I am using!

Ah...did not know you were having pic posting issues.

So there are two routes to get to the base where we start going up Black Mountain TT.

One is Pamo road

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/33.0446904,-116.8636896/Black+Mountain+Summit+trail/@33.1115401,-116.8674503,13.25z/data=!4m9!4m8!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x80dbe9efd35a32f5:0xc7ba8968b31e7c9e!2m2!1d-116.8378572!2d33.1355321!3e0

One is Upper Santa Ysabel (FR 12s07) - which is much more fun....but a little slower going.

What say the gang?    Or we can decide tomorrow before KSU.

I vote for the longer, more complex trail. But I am game to follow the crowd.

Thank you @Hawkins.  I reduced it to smallest size!

So it is fixed? That tells me the issue was related to you being over quota for total storage. I just 10x'ed the entire forum. We aren't low on space, but we do need some guardrails in place. For now I'll let it go as is until we have to migrate. Maybe I can compress the pics in flight and ask that the video be moved to YouTube. I'll marinate on this a bit more.

I was about triple over the max size, deleted old ad photos the other day and got down to just over double.  I have a lot of full size photos, would gladly reduce them but it’s a timely process….need to get out the bottle of Scotch and sit at the laptop.

I am looking into a way to do that for you (and everyone else) automagically. Don't worry about it for now, just enjoy using the forum.

So I am charging my helmet light, does anyone want to use my spare?  It mounts on a GoPro mount, I have spare mounts (flat and curved) if anyone wants to try one out.  They are fantastic

I will be riding in from the north/mesa grande. Coming from Carlsbad so see you all at the peak. Safe journeys to all!

Most times we stop before the top  2/3 3/4 of the way up

Yeah, party point (rather than the peak) is the traditional destination.
