I've been exploring the Sierra Nevada since 2006, mainly solo on my Ducati 900 Elefant or KTM 950 Adventure....yep, beautiful country and so much to explore.

Another from Friday..

Started around 4k feet and went up in elevation and latitude from there. Hit that snow drift on a seldom used mtn ridge trail. Once it clears I’d like to punch in and see where it goes. Mainly just picked some trails that looked good and went exploring.

Will post Saturday’s ride soon.

OMG, that is an amazing shot. I want to go there.

Actually, they're all great shots, but this one does something to me.

Thanks for the friendly compliments about the pics especially the scenic 2 track. I try to keep my head on a swivel for views. Sometimes on the more spirited / race you the guys around rides we tend to get blinded but on this slower more exploratory ride, I tried to soak it in.

Maybe it's an Air Cooled thing?

My spirited riding is probably closer to other's exploratory rides on this forum. That is a road that just looks fun to me. Not scary or even challenging, I just want to ride it to see where it goes. So cool, thanks for sharing. Now I gotta figure out where that is. [wink, wink]
