shutterrev 469 Posted February 28, 2022 Well yesterday was just one of those really good rides, we met by the Warner Springs Glider port, and rode Lost Valley and the California Hiking and Riding trail. After that we swing through to Anza to top off the tiny tanks, and headed over to run to Bailey's Cabin and back. We saw two other riders out on the trail to Baileys, one on a CRF300L and one on a Rally Towered 690 that was pretty set up nice dudes. Good times, great riding. Lost valley route has some iffy puddles, and new ruts, the bit toward the end is a little slimy and still has snow so the whole route is gorgeous right now. Bailey's Cabin route was gorgeous, and it got warmer the further down to the desert floor you went.

dirt dame 559 Posted February 28, 2022 Nice. Best conditions right now, for that ride. Haven't been down there since 2019 or so.

Yeah much cooler than the last time we went, and it was actually nice it was warm down at the cabin on the desert floor That whole ride is just super fun.
Bub_Hannah 174 Posted February 28, 2022 Nice pics...looks like some great riding! We hit Corral (Spur Meadow trail) on Saturday. lot of slick mud ...and then the snow in the shade. Got really hairy once we got up Spur. The last mile to the gate near the lookout was really bad. Wasn't the best idea on 50/50 tires.
tntmo 887 Posted March 1, 2022 Always cool to ride in snow here in San Diego, then you can come back to the nice 75 degree weather.

There is a nice series of routes you can string together in almost any direction for trails, desert, etc - I loved it when I was a 4x4 guy and had never ridden off-road... and I love it even more not what I'm getting bike tires dirty
