signature line

UGH!

I for the life of me cannot remember. . . or find how to change my signature line.  Could someone please take this old man by the hand and lead me to the answer?

Click on your forum name dropdown deal in the upper right corner.

Select settings, account settings.

On the left side of the screen select signature.

In the signature block, write the following, "I needed help with this"

My attempts to change my signature line fail.
Nothing sticks correctly.

I had to change mine to a horizontal format (instead of stacked) so the spacing wouldn't be all screwed up, but it did work.

Must be a glitch in the software.
