robertaccio 406 Posted January 4, 2021 I always wonder why everyone chases tires for their DS/ADV skinny bikes.....the 350/450/500 cc size (plus tweener sizes) enduro based DS/adv bikes. for adv type longer range/ mixed pavement and dirt based riding. These have so much deep dive engineering for everything from high speed hard dirt roads, dez terrain even sand dunes. They are designed for the Dakar rally and win for the latest spec 450 class rally bikes and their weight with all the rally build gear (like many of us with trip packs and body weight GVW) https://motorcycle.michelinman.com/motorbike/tyres/michelin-desert-race The 140/80-18 rear and 90/90-21 front. light steering with 90/90-21 great sharp object resistance, fat body rear and DOT. robertaccio 406 Posted January 4, 2021 For me on my skinny TE610 Husky, I am a 90% offroad and add in single track so I stick with the latest spec DOT Michelin Enduro Medium series but with the fatty 90/100-21 front with the 140/80-18 rear with M16 standard front mousse and M02 Rally harder mousse out back (normal enduro rear mousse is an softer M14)
