DS Dezert Nights

Recommended Posts

Wondering if any interest from desert night riders.. Screenshot_20200930-213006_2751.thumb.png.e33aa4236762d1a0e6a294f139d025ba.png

Found an explorable wash  routes with flowing banked curves , 60-70 mile range required, leads over to the nameless canyon, a 5.2 mile slot canyon with sand and a steep hill.

Things you'd need:

Large water pac, factory headlight or better, protective gear and cool clothing, and permission from the wife to be riding your Dual Sport at night.

2% slab. This route is moderately easy and smooth - not for begginner.

If interested plz post up.

Ride is Next Saturday night  with optimal cooler temps.  Avg speed 25-35 mph in sand.

Hey bud,

Not this Saturday night ,  but next Saturday night ...

The temperatures that night will be at lowest  and make it comfortable.

If any one has a new hemet light or new LED setup on thier bike , this is a good Dual Sport route to test it out.

ok. Your post said "next Saturday" which would make it the 3rd.

I just might be able to make it then on the 10th.

Awesome. I've been preparing trails out there to this destination. You guys are gonna like the night time atmosphere . There's an awesome sand climb. Gas stations near by.

Staging near the Great Escape bar & grill.

I may have a +1 also ...

The meet up location is between the great escape bar/grill, and the Ocotillo Trading Post.   It's right near the freeway . There's a large dirt parking lot perfect for pulling your bike off the truck or setting up a chair and taking in the stars..   bring double amount of water plz erry body.

This route is probly doable on a 1090 for a rider like  Krazy Kenny..
