KTMrad 508 Posted April 22, 2020 This is what motivated me to move to SoCal, 1992 cross country ride...round trip 11,000 miles in 5 weeks. Me with my '89 FJ1200 and my best friend's Ninja ZX-10...we had one helluva great trip. 3 months later I was living in California. Also, from another trip, NY to Daytona Bike Week... 1992 my good friend Patrick and I rode straight thru 1200 miles from Long Island to Florida to Daytona Bike week and the Daytona 200...right to left, Me on the right on my trusty steed FJ1200.... Patrick, on Katana 750, then Larry who lived in Florida on Ninja ZX10, and his Buddy don't remember his name....and another pic of my badass friend Larry on Daytona beach. My first time to a live motorcycle road race, I was hooked after that ! Man, first few seconds inside the grandstands, I walked up to the fence on the banking and saw the riders (including Russell and Polen) going by at almost 200mph...that was a friggin' rush ! 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
