First rides of 2020

Did anybody else ride the 1st ?

 

Noob ride went smashingly well . Found staging near chp with bp working for us as lookout. 

Followered the border roads north of the wall. When we rode next to the fence the light effect gave us virdugo or some kinda wierd effect from pulsating light.

Later on, I crashed it , did a 'dumbdump' at 1/2 mile per hour.  I was riding acrost a deep wide rut and kinda got thrown into a run. My pig was laying over on it's side still running in gear with gas shooting out the gas cap.  After righting  it i realized my bike was ok just stuck, and I needed help.

Luckily the group was willing to help me out.

You needed help getting the bike out or you got hurt?  Hope you are okay.

I was ok, luckily there was a dirt embankment wall that I got thown into opposite the rut helped slow me down.

I ciuldnt put a foot down because the rut. 

My bike was stuck too heavy for me too start lifting it alone ...it was a little wet out there under the top layer.

Went on a sunset ride with my son.....Ramona over to Josie’s Hideout & back.  Just a simple ride on Black Canyon both ways since Santa Ysabel TT is closed due to the rains....lollipop ride but that didn’t matter.....nice to start my 8th decade off with my son and grab a beer/dinner once we got back into town
