Bagstr 287 Posted December 11, 2019 If you Patrol the dez long enough, the desert will see it change before your eyes. This is the intersection of Inspiration Wash and the N.E. corner of the Borrego Landfill. For years we have used the two track on the S.E. side of the wash. No more, at least the first half mile near the landfill. The sand dunes have drifted across the gorge, blocking it and causing a delta like structure to establish. People are establishing new routes to connect the the BLM ( ? ) riding area between the Park and Landfill. This trip, it appeared that a new Inspiration gorge is forming in a more southerly direction. They built the landfill directly in the path of Inspiration Wash. Lotsa Sand, what could go wrong? Here’s a little souvenir I got while chasing you thru the washes. That tire you have was really shooting a painful roost! Good times!

Crap! I’m Sorry Rory. The painful list is getting longer unfortunately. I believe its up to three now that have been hit hard enough to leave a mark (no pun intended) I don’t want to be relegated to SM tires to just ride with you all. I remembered one Desert Dash when I followed a guy with a trials tire on the rear and thinking “this is kind of nice” Heal quick buddy

Yeah it's no joke behind the Mule... I saw a few baseball sized boulders flying passed me as we were flaunting our horsepower, my neck was feeling very vulnerable.
