Thursday, four men once known as young, organized an unlikely assault at the Anza Borrego Desert SP.  KSU at 0703 plus a few.  68 degrees F, clear skies. As fortune would have it There Was light in the night previous producing a quarter of an inch of rain, + or - .  To say we were lucky or fortunate with the Wet Sand, is an understatement.

Malpaís is a term used in the Southwestern United States, Spain, Mexico, and other Spanish-speaking regions for a rough and barren landscape that consists of relict and largely uneroded lava fields exhibiting recognizable lava flows, volcanic cones, and other volcanic landforms.

I woke up today staring out the window with arm in sling recovering from a dislocated shoulder thinking this is the best day in months to ride. Awesome seeing you guys got out
