KTMrad 508 Posted September 8, 2019 A good day...first, saw my friend Lori R. Gaskill, she was in town and offered her advice on some mods I need to do to my sidecar rig, because I wasn't happy with a few things my builder did when he just modified it ! Then stopped at SDBMW to see my friends there. Then went to go see another custom builder/fabricator for advice...the man, the myth, the legend....Rob North....if you don't know who he is, please Google his name...a major contributor in the motorcycling world. Hung out with Rob for awhile...I love the guy, great conversation, great advice on mods to my sidecar steering dampener relocation, and lots of history there and he's a pleasure to talk to. Afterwards, went to see my friends at National City Motorcycle, then GP Motorcycles...was fun making the rounds to see my favorite people at local bike shops.
standarche 7 Posted September 8, 2019 I went into GP for my first time a couple weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff, and the non pressure attitude of the sales team. I was looking at bikes for a buddy, as well as that Ducati Desert Sled with gold rims which will be my next bike, and they entertained my musings and stories. That's how you earn someone's business in my opinion, so good on them.
