Comforting Seats - As in Making More

Recommended Posts

Soo,,,  There is this recurring audio loop 🔊recycling in my empty head.  Something like; " This Comfort Seat is absolutely comfortable. If fact I cannot think of a seat more comfortable.".

Well my 2016 Comfort Seat could be more comfortable, And I cannot convince myself a New Improved Comfort Seat would be more comfy. Therefore, I and my shop propose to "remodel" the seat I now consider less than comfortable.

The Light came on in the dark empty head of mine 💡; and it illuminated a sign on the wall stating a thin layer of more dense FOAM may well solve the problem that the On Trail advertising brought to light. heading up to Joann's Fabric to see what I can source.

I’ve had my upholstery guy in Lakeside setup my last 4 seats “Like we do it in Mexico”

He drills holes in my Seat Concepts comfort foam then puts an extra layer of foam on top.

Muy extra soft Baja style lazy boy.

G&P Custom Upholstery on Wintergardens Blvd.

Charges me about $30

It's not just the foam- it's the width of the seat. The Seat Concepts Comfort XL is WIDER, which distributes the crushing weight placed upon it by the rider over a larger surface area.

And for foam: UFO in National City is where you want to go.

OK,  looking at the SC site the XL is 9.5 vs 7.5 inches wide in the rear. I can get my rear around that.

Thank's for the input gents.
