How about we meet 8am at Circle K Gas/Store, 12320 Willow Rd., Lakeside, at corner of Willow Rd. and 67.

Then we head up to Ramona to meet the rest.

Disclaimer This is not a ride report.

Went to the Hideout for a burger today with my friend Steve. I thought we might be the only ones there. I was wrong.

Disclaimer 2 this is not a food critique.

‘But the burger was expensive and so so. They will need to up their game if they want to keep the food going. Also the band was bad. Maybe a better band will play on the weekend.

If you plan on eating there this weekend give yourself plenty of time and bring plenty of cash. A burger and a coke was $16.00.

🍔 well, this might be worth looking at, then moseying to a better place. If the line is an hour long. I don’t enjoy that. I suggest we be flexible, cause ya know, we have motorcycles.

I figured the leather vest crowd would be overwhelming the place, I can’t stand waiting for food or drink so have little interest in going.  The ride there is nice though.

I rode by there a couple of weeks ago back from Nate Harrison and it was still packed around 9PM.

Sorry boyz, I gotta bail on this one.

A couple from Europe is coming into town, they need help getting tires and they will stay at my place, so we won't be riding on Saturday.

I love helping and meeting world travelers, so this is what I must do.

Unfortunately I have to drop out of this as well.  I am battling a stubborn Kidney stone.  Sorry, I would rather be going!

I've not yet had the pleasure of The Stones, but from what I understand, I'm certain you'd rather go riding.

Sorry Mike and best of luck.

well based on the grotesque photo of a hundred Harleys lined up there,  I'm out as well.  I'm going to make a simple 2 hour loop tomorrow, all paved.  Will leave Sheldon's Station (coffee shop) in La Mesa at 9am, up wildcat canyon, chairs, then north and west eventually to loop back past San Diego BMW and to La Mesa. Anyone wanting to clear their head for a couple hours feel free to meet up at Sheldon's (5 minutes or more before ...) at 9am.

Someone please open up a dual sport 'Hideout' for us un-leathered heathens.

Oops.  Just remembered I have a slow to moderate rear tire leak.  If I can get it fixed... I'll do the ride.  If not....... well, then I'm grounded.

Funny how people don't want to go there because there are lots of Harleys.

I used to stop there all the time, didn't care what type of motorcycles or people were there.

HARLEY'S = Dentists,  Right?

       I understand the negative association.

I wouldn’t want to go if it was packed with sport bikes, scooters or Yamaha Super Ténérés either....I just don’t like dealing with crowds.

The restaurant on the lake is for ADV.

The restaurant on the lake has undergone a change of ownership during the last year.  The last time I ate there, a couple of months ago, the food was really good.

I’ll second that, ate there a couple months ago as well and was pleasantly surprised.

Hide Out was more like the Stake Out this morning. Lots of Sheriff and CHP.

Band sucks. Breakfast burrito and coffee was good.
