Some 2007 rfs motors had issues with the intake valves. Mine did. If you find that at the valve check the lash has gone to 0 or significantly changed and this occurs multiple times you may want to consider replacing the intake valves. I bought my bike used and it came with service reports from NCY indicating that they had adjusted the valves several times early in the bikes life. When I checked them they had gone to near zero again. Bike ran fine but I elected to pull the head and install Kibblewhite stainless steel intakes. Since then many thousands of miles by myself and the subsequent owner and the valves are still holding their adjustment.
