Just back from 5 days doing day loops out of Mesquite, NV. with a group of Norcal friends. Many of you who have been on one of the Bar 10 rides will recognize some of the area as we spent a good portion of the time in the Grand Canyon - Parashant and the Gold Butte National Monuments as well as the Beaver Dam Wash NRA so at some time or another we were in Utah, Arizona and Nevada sometimes in the same day. Great riding though it comes with lots of rocks and a bit technical but nothing crazy hard though it's there if that's what you're after. Anyway here's some pics from the guys.

Tell me more about that "cave" picture.

Beautiful area; awesome pics!

No cave. Are you referring to this one? It's the entrance to a canyon called "The Seeps " where there's a spring feeding the wash.

It is a pretty diverse area. Have ridden there several times now and never get tired of it. Really wanted to make the SXS trip but have a schedule conflict. Maybe next time...

That's the one, Randy.  Do you just pass under it and pop out the other side or does it go down and then you come back out the same way?  Either way it looks cool!

That’s the way to spend a vacation 👍

Thanks. We're mostly retired so every day is vacation:) Original plan was to go up around the Blackrock Desert but with the big winter we were concerned about the snow at the higher elevations. We only saw a few patches at ~7000' out of Mesquite. Turned out to be a great alternative.
