Thanks for sharing this as we don't see a lot of deer down here.  Having killed a whitetail in Montana awhile back, I'm a little sensitive to 'the feeding hours' and night riding.

Totaled the BMW, killed the deer and destroyed $1500 worth of very functional clothing and helmet.  I walked away with a tiny bruise on my hip, no hospital bill and a fat check from my insurance company.

ATGATT- it's amazing what a little clothing technology can get you through.

did ya at least eat em? Maybe in Ca. that would be illegal without a hunting permit...…..

A number of years back I watched an SD zoo monitor lizard tear into a road kill deer that got turned in for zoo food.

I had a deer run across in front of me on Japatul Valley Road a few days ago riding the Wee. It ran across the road, then turned and went back and jumped the fence going down towards Loveland reservoir.

I met a guy recently who got taken out on Fuerte Rd. from a truck tire that came off. He was on a GS, he got hurt pretty bad, said he was lucky not to get run over from oncoming traffic!

Be careful out there🙏🏻

That area is also known for a lot of wild turkeys crossing the road.  Where there is one, there are often a few more to follow.
