My son and I are talking about a morning ride out there on the 9th (next Saturday-I have to leave for Palm Desert later that day so it may be a quick there and back).  Anything that we need to know?  I have never been there before; is it open or is it directional?  Anything to be aware of so that we don't do something stupid?  My son went out last weekend with a buddy but his buddy crashed early and they had to leave before they learned a whole lot.  Not trying to hijack-looks like a cool place to check out and I just want to make sure we follow protocol!

No 1 direction trails so be aware of head on collisions. 

Mild fire road on the outer loop. 

Great single - two track on the interior trails. 

Some Advanced rock crawler stuff. 

There is a map at 4 corners and trails are marked. 

Fun place to ride. Conditions are perfect this year. 

Be cautious of oncoming traffic.

Be sure to have a spark arrestor also.

I will be on my 500 and my son is on a KX450; pretty sure he has a spark arrestor but will double check.  Great info on the direction; thank you!  Most likely not doing the rock crawler stuff but the rest sounds fun!  Already pretty pumped about the single and two track trails

Actually that picture is probably taken from where your video starts.  Had the best conditions in some places,  lots of snow in others.  

We did the whole loop around Esponoza to Spur Meadow.  Fun times
