Dress4Less 162 Posted February 4, 2019 There was not a speck of dust in the air...but, there was plenty of rain, mud and axle deep ruts! Green dominated the event going 1-2 in the two-fiddy main and 1st in the four-fiddy main...fun time!
tntmo 882 Posted February 4, 2019 MudCross! It always seems to rain on or near the race here in San Diego. I happily watched it at home.
Wintyfresh 46 Posted February 4, 2019 The lime mixed into the soil didn't do the bikes or the riders any favors.

Pokey151 238 Posted February 13, 2019 I dont think they run recluse clutches, I wonder it that's an extension to run more plates because of the mud, they always burn clutches during the mud races?
97xr400r 122 Posted February 13, 2019 Used to race on dirt ovals and can recall the track prep guys using lime from time to time, seems like a really common practice. I guess lime and standing water/ mud pits don't mix! I wonder if the track prep guys saw the forecast and just loaded the lime on ... This article gives a little insight into the incident. https://racerxonline.com/2019/02/11/insight-communication-theory Anybody wanna go ride the mud around the Salton Sea!!? Not a spacer its a standard size but factory magnesium secondary cover with a coating on it. many use Rekluse products clutches in various configurations as well as Hinson, so we see a lot of the clutch covers with added volume but most do have some config of those brand of clutch components. They should make the entire bike from Ti note how the caustic mafia burial lime had no effect on the Ti parts. Good thing they coat the Magnesium parts..they probably would have disintegrated !!! BTW I will take that dirty stained motor off their hands...…..
