amgems 79 Posted December 11, 2018 The ride Sunday was sooo much fun! Everybody that rode did a great job. Only a few minor dirt inspections. I was expecting a lot of hand holding, bike lifting, crying, etc. There was none. If you did the first hour of this ride you rode the hardest part of the Desert Dash. You are ready for the real thing. This was not an organized ride, although it was very well organized. I think we had 18 riders at one point. Thanks to the "un" organizers. Uncle Champ 116 Posted December 11, 2018 Hey TV Scum that's how I do HAHill too, just throw the bike down near the top and get it over with How was the rest of the descent?
erik_26 31 Posted December 11, 2018 Thank you for the videos. Some times the Gopros can flatten out terrain, so it doesn't look so daunting when watching it. Your camera and angle seemed to give a better perspective of HAH than I have seen in other videos.

Kick start XR flooded out and had to bump start it at the bottom. It was all good after that!

350thumper 336 Posted December 13, 2018 tvscum . points for style, i looked at that hill and its rough and steep , especially the line you were on. its nice seeing all those different color bikes harmonizing together, great job to who organized it.
Bagstr 287 Posted December 13, 2018 Congratulations to all who took on the challenge. Schwinn advised years again to Shut off the motor and put it in gear and use the clutch for rear braking. The front is what will bite you usually. After years of success on that hill, I had a major fail last week from being sloppy in my approach. Those at the bottom find it endlessly entertaining to watch potential and or realized disaster. Jan '15 CID Drops In
