wildwood 11 Posted September 17, 2018 Hell yeah baby, that's what a weekend should be about. Thanks to an excellent group of players, it made for some more over the top good times. I didn't get but one picture, but I know Jim was doing his thing, I'm waiting in anticipation to see what he comes up with. A HUGE thanks to KKUG, he brought the affair to a whole nother level. I believe 350Thumper made it back to civilization. Nice little out & back brother. It was nice to meet Roy and John on this one, both great riders. Uncle Champ went back through 74 to Palm Springs, how did that go? And we met a guy from San Diego when we were getting gas before returning, Mike I think, who rode back with us to Warner Springs. A possible future member. Good one Gents'

350thumper 336 Posted September 17, 2018 Staged at Oak grove Campground lots of shade there and good spot to rest. Real nice views on this ride. The sky was really blue. Was suprized how steep the side of the mountain was. Enjoyed the little town of Anza down below to get drinks or burritos. Obviously y'all have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to off bike camping. Real impressed with how you guys pack it all on and still have room for beer. Uncle Champ 115 Posted September 17, 2018 Now wait a minute, I could swear Wierdrider had a big duffel bag, if he got all that stuff in those little bags I'm shopping wherever he shops. My list is getting longer, I felt like I had WAY to much stuff, just not the cool stuff.
Wierdrider 187 Posted September 17, 2018 We were all ready to leave from the restaurant and was checking my rack, 2 out of the three bolts were gone. I had Ken take my too big of a duffel bag home for me. I’ve gotta learn to pack lighter🤔 Thanks for the bailing wire Jon👍

Wierdrider 187 Posted September 18, 2018 All packed and ready to go Thanks Bob’s all ready to rip I think I drank to much orange cool aid Enjoying lunch at La Cocina with the boys Darren has a way of making one smile Our destination My domain, watch out for all the nails around up there. Darren getting sound advice from Bob on his route home I think Roy was amused After Ken arrived with all the goodies🍻🍻🍻 Thanks for feeding us Ken🍻🍻🍻🥩🥩🥩🌽🌽🌽🥑🥑🥑 I’m pretty sure this is looking towards Palm Springs A view of Toro Peak from Santa Rosa Peak The wind was howling pretty good, the chairs were mostly 💨 over Charlie enjoying a cold beverage Ken’s idea of the silhouette. 👍 I wanted a photo of Bob and his food, this is what I got I think Ken said something the next morning about " I should’ve eaten that salad " Charlie taking refuge from the wind inside the chimney Roy finished before I could take his photo, and Jon wouldn’t let me close to his steak! We were livin large up there on the mountain This was Charle’s camp area, how did you sleep by the way? At least you didn’t have a tent slapping you in the head all night! The view at the Santa Rosa tt trailhead looking towards Idyllwild I’ve eaten here three times now, and have always liked the food. We ate there Sunday morning

So I’m having dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant, La Grange in Cholet France and I look over and there is the Kug staring at me from the bottom of a picture. The Kug is everywhere! Van 35 Posted September 18, 2018 At first I thought you were referring to the dude with his hands on the teets, a typical Wisconsin (Kug?) thing, then I noticed the "Kug".

Bag selection seems like a good place to start. (refer to lesson 1). Sandals seemed to be popular on the ride also.
