Third day out in nowhere Canyonlands NP and Bagstr looses the shift lever bolt!! Could not believe I did not have an 8mm to solve that. CID to the rescue 2011 Boulder Utah - Kug's waterpump starts dropping water - JB Weld to the rescue 150 miles to nearest KTM dealer. Stuff Happens! Gotta rely on your buddies and what you brung. tntmo 887 Posted September 10, 2018 Middle of nowhere, flat tire on my buddy's Africa Twin that he "converted to tubeless" tires with some 3M tape. We tried everything to get it to take some air, but after multiple fails we realized the tape wasn't sealing the spokes anymore. Guess what my buddy forgot to bring??? A tube! I decided to try to stretch a 19" tube over a 21" rim. It works! Due to poor timing, we ended up riding 1000 miles on that setup until we could get a replacement 21" tube.
