After the ride is done, it's no longer an Upcoming Ride.

Just so I don’t make any more rookie mistakes, can someone differentiate a ‘ride report’ vs The attendees of a ride chatting about its highlights?

Ive already posted something in the wrong place once (my first post) and don’t want to end up in the principals office.

Informal upcoming rides are just that.  Ride report would be posting about the ride after it is done.  If you let the upcoming rides thread go on it ends up being very confusing which rides are coming up. I moved it to " Palomar Divide 9-2"

Just FYI, my comments were referring also to members who have been around awhile and still continue to do this.
