Halo-Halo Rider 0 Posted July 27, 2018 Another epic adventure to watch in the making. I’m glad to know you made it out New Mexico with less trouble on those sticky muddy trails. Did you get a chance to try their famous pie in Pie Town? I will be behind you following your adventure updates as you crossing Montana to Canada ? ?? Ken S 164 Posted July 28, 2018 Awesome trip. I lived in the Bitteroot Valley just south of Missoula for 4 years. Gods country. Wish id of owned a dual sport then instead of the Gold Wing I had then.

Riggerdan 147 Posted August 20, 2018 After a couple of weeks of nursing some sore shoulders and butt..... Home safe and sound in Jamul with a little over 7000 miles of adventure riding. Thanked the universe on a daily basis for the ability and opportunity to tackle the Divide Created a bonding relationship with this KTM 1090 Hindsight thoughts: - WOW I really made it Jasper - Happy to have made the trip with no injuries / mechanicals - The bike was utterly AMAZING... - The ride was harder then I thought - Maintained a reasonable level of clarity when things went a little south - I chew through motorcycle tires - I'm a magnet for the rain - My solitude quota has definitely been filled - New Mexico kicked my ass, - The NM stars were truly unbelievable, when it wasn't raining - No fun to drop your 800lb dirt bike in the slippery mud - No fun to drop your bike at all - Glad I have some very novice rigging skills - I can rig up a hammock in 2.5 minutes, and swing in the rain - The Mosko bags are AWESOME, extremely well designed - Don't ride through Yellowstone late afternoon - if you expect to ride faster then 3 mph - Love those Tetons - Always love Glacier Park - Really love Polebridge MT - Rode way more at night then I would have imagined - unbelievable experience at times - Other times, not so unbelievable - Really really great to see SDAR friends in ID "Strega & The Mountain Man" - ID was HOT - No fun breathing in smoke for days on end - Lost a lot of weight - The Canadian Rockies are truly beautiful - for me, icing on the cake... - Getting back into the states from the North was extremely difficult due to a disgruntled CBP agent - GPS Kevins tracks were very good only 2 discrepancies that generated a little more adventure then anticipated - Ripped it to the coast to in search of fresh air and a blue sky - found it in Crescent City - Slabbed the coast highway home, very enjoyable - A real sense of accomplishment when I was rolling up my driveway - Wouldn't do it again, but glad its behind me - Patagonia in 2020 Few more shots (out of order) to help paint the adventure Hope you enjoy - Rigger

Bagstr 287 Posted August 21, 2018 This is about the Cleverest solution I have ever seen. I nominate this event into the Kug Book of Clever Solutions. Heck, it was not even muddy by the time you figured it out!
MacDuncan 131 Posted August 22, 2018 Oh my Rigger, what a nice set-up, and that was a big league ride. Not no wander in the park for a couple days!! Way to go for it. Hope to buy you a beer soon and hear more stories. I liked your "reflection list", great thoughts there, but really laughed at the Yellowstone warning. I was ok riding the Yellowstone loop at the posted 45 mph on my bike, kinda, but when the tourists slam on the brakes in front of me to look at a squirrel... yahoo, wildlife... That's a bit much - haha. Glad you got home safe. Spectacular pics! Cheers.
Wierdrider 187 Posted August 22, 2018 Wow, what an epic adventure. Thanks for taking us along. There’s so much to to explore out in this beautiful world, weather it’s for 7,000 miles worth, or a couple hundred miles in our backyard! Congrats on a great adventure ??
