Joliet 0 Posted April 3, 2008 I hate to say it, but that green patch logo looks nice. Good job and sorry for the hijack. There is no way I can make out what that font is trying to say. Other than that it has a nice middle ages, card playing, leprechaun feel to it . Ken

ADV Bum 205 Posted April 4, 2008 Sorry for lagging, but wife had already planned family vacation at Disneyland. Thanks for all the well wish's. First diagnosis is that the shoulder bone in several inch's out of place. Tore up the stuff that holds it together. I will be going to several specialists next week to get thier opinions and schedule surgery. I have been told that riding will be a ways off. Hondapilot and Spaugh, thanks for the help! It was a fantastic ride up until the end. Its late and Im tired. Thanks again everybody!
PastaPilot 17 Posted April 4, 2008 I hope you were able to enjoy your trip to Disneyland. You and Brad were great riding partners on this trip. I hope you're both able to do this again in October or November or both. Take it easy and help yourself recover quickly. If there's anything I can help you with up there, let me know. Here's a few more pics from the ride.... Honestly there is a road that goes through here Cheers folks, HP
piratemonkey 0 Posted April 5, 2008 Phew, saved me from having to write a story about midgets and cannibalism. Glad you all got home safely. Looks like a lot of fun but I think the sand would kick my ass.
PastaPilot 17 Posted April 9, 2008 The tracks looked a little something like this.... There was a few modifications after getting lost and sucking sand for 2 hours. This trip was so damned much fun I'm going to do this again in October and maybe again in November, dates coming soon.

PastaPilot 17 Posted June 24, 2008 I sent a link of this one to Johnny Airtime and then went through it and got all nostalgic. Man that weekend was so much fun. I can't wait to do this again. Is it July yet?
JohnnyAirtime 2 Posted June 26, 2008 I sent a link of this one to Johnny Airtime and then went through it and got all nostalgic. Man that weekend was so much. I can't wait to do this again. Is it July yet? And I just got done going through it all.... pretty cool. Lots of stuff packed on those bikes. Reminds me of... well... never. I've not done what you have... I usually pack light (no overnight gear like tents, or sleeping bags) and I wear an OGIO Flight vest with 12lbs of tools. Worst case... a backpack over it all with my nightie and flip flops and possibly a gallon of fuel (3.2G on my bike only gets me 85 or so EASY miles). Cool that you didn't notice too much of the weight or bulk... but, man... it sure made for a submarine in the dunes huh?! I recognize 90% of those pics... been most of those places, and make me wanna go out there now. But uhhhh... it's 115° out there now. Hence Baja... and the coastal ride. (which I replied to ya in that thread, with pic links...etc) Thanks for sharing!

PastaPilot 17 Posted November 10, 2009 Is it about time to consider this again?? It is. The timing is just about right. I'd love to go again but I'm afraid I haven't the tool for the job. The Aprilia lacks the range and I don't think I'd be able to find another suitable bike for a trip this season. Or can I?

I have an MT21 to put on the back, but the labor part on that is up to you, hehe. It does need oil and filters tho, since I haven't touched it after the GC trip. Hey Jon, this bike was not made in Italy so no need to throw it in the river or anything!
