CL300CAPT 0 Posted August 8, 2016 Hey everybody long time no ride and no see! Hope you've all been well? You may recall I have a 2012 DRZ 400 which now needs a new battery. Any advice like where to buy, where not to buy, preferred brands or types, brands or types to avoid would be MUCH APPRECIATED. Many thanks in advance. robertaccio 405 Posted August 8, 2016 many choices for ulta lite Li xxx. Shorai as stated above, well proven, many sold http://shoraipower.com/ Earth-X- USA made, used and endorsed by Ty Davis' Zip Ty Racing, and me..... (charge cell balance circuit built in) nice build quality, great performance (TE300 Husky/KTM) (buy with discount code-PM) http://www.ziptyracing.com/earthx-etx12a-battery/ Super B (pro team choice, very high quality=$$$, Dutch made) Use for commercial applications as well as moto stuff, USA dealer is http://www.offroadchampions.com/ The choice of Team KTM/FMF USA (Mullins, Russell, Webb, Bobbitt, Robert, Ramirez, Martinez ), Team Husqvarna/Rockstar USA (Brown, Delong, Argubright, Haaker, Strang), David Knight, Jimmy Jarrett (OMA), Team Coastal Drilling (Sipes, Michael), Team KR4 9 (Duvall, Parsons), Team CH Sherco (Phillips, Hubner, Olsen), Team MPS Sherco (Rookstool, Whoare) Austin Lee (team Raines), Team Husqvarna Wilvo Nestaan (MXGP), Maxxis Super B Dakar Team, HT Husqvarna Rally (Renet, Smith) http://www.super-b.com/en/automotive/sli-starter-batteries/motorcycle CV4- same as Ballistic with a CV4 brand label Ballistic- https://www.ballisticparts.com/ great price!!,good company I've used them but they seem to die at a faster rate, at least the first issue models did- they did't have a cell charge balance circuit, that I know of, unless the latest evo units do. Used these in my Italian Huskys (TXC450,TE310,TXC310R), They used me for a test on my TE310 sent out a (super ultra Lite!!) 4 cell but it failed after a only few months, they sent me a replacement (ulta lite) 8 cell at no cost.
