Mikey777 44 Posted July 12, 2016 The GF (aka Jenny) and I spent the weekend up at Monterey/ Laguna Seca for the World SBK races. Spent some time walking the pits, checking out the manufacturers/vendors areas, and hiking up to the Corkscrew. Good time and some great racing. Monterey is a beautiful place to visit and seeing all the bikes on Cannery Row on Saturday night was very cool. A few pics... The Corkscrew (in panoramic). Bikes on Cannery Row Pics from Laguna Seca Custom Ducati Scrambler KTM's Factory Racing RC Cup bike....No KTM display in the manf/vendor area. WTH? The Pace Car Ducati Island unveiling of the Panigale 1299s Anniversary model (and some moderately attractive Italianish looking ladies) Random Bike Chaz Davies and Davide G. after their podium finish...Much more access to racers than MotoGP. Crashed 600 at Course Control. The racing team mechanic was claiming the bike and yelling at Course Control for leaving parts out on the track. "Where's my f'in fairings!" Ducati Pantah tradition, it's basically still one of these after all these years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ducati_Pantah
