tntmo 882 Posted June 9, 2016 I'm not sure why, but my command has put me in charge of our Safety Department (I'm probably the most unsafe person I know!) Anyway, we're planning a safety brief for the entire ship's crew and I would like to track down someone to speak about motorcycle safety for 20-30 minutes. Does anyone have any leads? Safety Third!!! Mikey777 44 Posted June 9, 2016 You might want to try these below. I believe San Diego Harley Davidson puts on motorcycle training too. You might want to contact them as New York Myke is a big proponent of the military and motorcycle safety. http://cmsp.msi5.com/ http://www.inlandvalleymotorsportstraining.com/ http://www.sandiegoharley.com/read-more-about--learn-to-ride

I actually just put together a 30ish minute PP presentation on motorcycle safety. I'm my unit's Motorcycle Club President. Marine Corps orders and what not require each unit squadron level or higher or battalion level or higher have their own unit safety clubs. I'm doing the motorcycle brief for our 101 days of summer thing tomorrow actually. Send me your e-mail address and you can change it around to fit your needs as the reference slide has all the MCOs and MARADMINS on it that we need. It's only 9 slides long but you should be able to talk about things on it long enough to make it last 20 or 30 mins. The three talking points are training, recent road range incidents involving motorcycles, and lane splitting.
Shooby 0 Posted June 10, 2016 tntmo - Downs is a great resource. He knows his stuff. Col. Kurtz approves this message.
