Bagstr 287 Posted May 9, 2016 Beezzz, Saturday at 6000ft the temps were in the low 50s while it was about 20 degrees warmer in Bozeman ( A heat wave ). I would think anything could happen to you in June. Generally excellent conditions But,,, you could get un-lucky on a given day. Even now there are Bear Jams were people lose their minds and act totally irresponsibly. People get run over standing in the roadway. Whatever you choose, June will be an excellent time to visit the park. Bagstr 287 Posted May 10, 2016 Beezzz, The Drive is about 1.5 to 2 hours from Bozeman depending on destination. Very limited lodging openings until end of May. We just made a day of it.
