Well actually six plus That Guy

Warmer today, plus conditions required attention after the wash flows last week.

Thanks guys for making the drive. Bags

You Gentlemen,,,,Are Amazing Rigger, That Jamul is one wild place

A Note to Anza Borrego State Park visitors: We had notices on our windshields on return from the loop regarding parking.

The rule for parking in wild lands of the park is " One car length off to roadway". We were at the Buttes Slot Canyon area which has and somewhat organized parking area at the top of the trail. Being 1 or 2 hundred yards west, the parking was more ad hock but still on hard ground with no vegetation. It was Not like we just pulled out into the open sand and brush. Whether there is a violation or not is purely in the opinion of the Park Ranger. The Ranger Did Not issue violations but in my mind was trying to keep us " under control". Several of the group had pulled up closer to the edge of the canyon than close to the road which is a natural tendency.

My Point - Please keep in mind the park staff has a goal of minimizing vehicle impact on this wonderful resource. If we show reasonable restraint, we as Moto Nuts will continue to benefit from good relations with the staff. Personally, I constantly remind myself that this a park and not an off-road recreation area. I need to stay on the roads with no short cuts.

Now I return you to the photos of funny people and clever insults.

The NEW guy.........

Thanks for letting me tag along. Great ride and great to meet everyone! Thanks to Bagster for being a kickass guide and doing a great job making sure we were all together and safe.

If you look at my face in this pic, you can see disappointment. Bowers lured me to this ride with the promise of free snacks at each stop. Turned out it was all a lie! Still had a great time! Thanks!

Nice pictures guys!  The ride was great!  They all were and I will miss them now that work came calling and I answered.

Dave, Thanks for posting the rides and leading us around the desert!

OK, so here are my versions of the pics from that ride:

Beezzz,

Good to see you have the photo loading thing sorted.  Always good to remember these moments.

I can only load photos directly onto SDAR.

I can not use a Photobucket link.

I would like a third party tester and directions in a "help section" as to "How to post photos using a linked storage."  The current help section has very old instructions and remarks.

Beezzz,

This new software does operate differently.  Using SmugMug, I find I can simply Copy and Paste into the posting.  Previously, I had to go through the process of entering the Link into that Add Photo box.

  Good Luck
