Axle nut wrench/ spoon combo kit sale

Recommended Posts

I realized I needed a large wrench for the axles on the 990 today. I think we were discussing the box end inserts a couple months ago. This seemed like a good deal. I did order a set. If I made a mistake let me know so I can get something else.

Seems like a solid kit and the sizing should be right depending which kit you got to fit your rim lock, if the adventure comes with one. I doubt though there will be enough clearance with that wrench to fit your axle pinch and the axle adjuster bolts have to use a open end wrench so i dont see the need for the smaller sized one most, 10 12 and 13mm bolts on bikes need a socket

I have that same set. Works fine on the 990. After seeing that Mongo Enduro video at Danrider's house, it would be nice to have some longer spoons for more leverage though.

I have the same set. They're definitely light but provide minimal leverage. Better than nothing but I'd go with something bigger.

Yeah for the big adv bike 140 or 150 rear tires im dreading changing a flat on side of trail hard enough getting my tire on in garage

It's actually not that bad. Sometimes the bigger tires are even easier. Hardest part is breaking the bead. Use the center stand for that. If you don't know this technique, let me know and I'll explain it a little more.

Yeah ive breaken the bead with bike stand before but the motoz desert ht i have on 950 is a monster to put on, sidewall is crazy stiff.
